The parameters a soybean meal contract is actually judged on at discharge. Quote every offer against the same guaranteed analysis — a grade difference of two protein points changes the cost per unit of protein far more than the headline price per tonne.

Container, break-bulk and Panamax freight per tonne can differ by USD 20–60/t on the same route, and small parcels carry the worst rate.
