FAQ

Common questions

Who is responsible for the paperwork?
Under CIF/CFR the seller provides most documents. Under FOB/EXW the burden shifts to the buyer. Write the exact document list into the contract, not the invoice.
How early should I check documentation?
Pre-shipment. Do not release the container from origin without draft copies of all certificates checked by your customs broker and destination authority contact.
Does FeedMatch help with import documentation?
Yes — our supplier RFQs require documentation packages upfront, and we connect buyers with regulated forwarders and customs brokers in every major discharge market.
