Soybean meal RFQ

Request a soybean meal quote — 46/47/48% protein, bulk or bagged

Soybean meal is the single largest protein line in most rations, so a half-percent protein difference or an unstated urease index changes the real cost more than the headline price. Give us protein basis, tonnage, packaging and destination, and we run the RFQ across origins and normalise every offer to delivered cost per unit of protein.

  • 46%, 47% and 48% CP, hipro and dehulled
  • Bulk vessel, container liner or bagged
  • Argentina, Brazil, US, India and EU origins
  • Delivered cost per unit of protein

Frequently asked questions

What is the price of soybean meal per tonne?
Soybean meal is an exchange-linked commodity: the price moves daily with CBOT futures, origin crush margins, currency and freight. A meaningful figure is always an origin, protein basis, Incoterm, shipment period and validity date together — which is exactly what offers returned through this request contain.
What is the difference between 46%, 47% and 48% protein soybean meal?
The difference is dehulling and crush process. Higher protein means more digestible amino acids and less fibre per tonne, allowing a lower inclusion rate. Compare on cost per unit of protein or, better, per unit of digestible lysine, and confirm whether the contract price adjusts up or down with the actual analysis at discharge.
Which quality parameters should the contract specify?
Crude protein basis with adjustment clause, moisture maximum, crude fibre and fat, urease activity and KOH protein solubility to evidence correct toasting, sand and silica, and the absence of prohibited processed animal protein. Name the inspection agency and the sampling point — load port, discharge port, or both — before signing.
Can you supply non-GMO or certified soybean meal?
Yes. Identity-preserved non-GMO, RTRS, ProTerra and EUDR-compliant documentation are all available from qualified origins at a premium that varies by season and by destination requirement. Flag the certification in the RFQ and suppliers will price the certified and conventional options separately.
