Ready-made feed ration formulas
Each formula on this page is solved with the same least-cost engine that powers our feed formulation calculator, then published as a mixing sheet: inclusion percentages, kg per 100 kg and kg per tonne, the resulting nutrient profile against the reference specification, and an indicative cost per tonne. Take the recipe as-is, or re-solve it with your own delivered raw-material prices.
Broiler starter feed formula (0–10 days)
Ready-made broiler starter feed formula with a 100 kg and 1 tonne mixing table, nutrient summary (22% CP, 2,950 kcal/kg ME) and an indicative cost per tonne from our least-cost solver.
Open formulaLayer feed formula (peak production)
Ready-made layer feed formula for peak production: 100 kg and 1 tonne mixing table, nutrient summary (17.5% CP, 3.8–4.5% Ca) and indicative cost per tonne from our least-cost formulation engine.
Open formulaDairy concentrate formula (lactating cows)
Ready-made dairy concentrate formula for lactating cows: 100 kg and 1 tonne mixing table, 18% CP nutrient summary and indicative cost per tonne from our least-cost formulation solver.

The formulation calculator covers broiler, layer, pig, dairy, beef, tilapia, catfish, salmon and shrimp across every growth phase, with your own prices and availability.
How to read these reference rations
Each published ration is a reference starting point: indicative inclusion ranges and nutrient targets for a species and stage, using widely available raw materials. Real formulation must be re-run against local ingredient analyses, current prices and the destination's additive rules. Use these to brief suppliers and sanity-check quotations, not to feed animals unchecked.
What this page gives you
- Species and stage rations with indicative inclusion ranges
- Nutrient targets stated with units and basis
- Downloadable summaries for supplier briefing and internal review
What a quotable brief needs
| Field | Why it changes the price |
|---|---|
| Animal type and production stage | Sets nutrient targets and acceptable ingredient list |
| Monthly or annual volume (t) | Decides whether bulk, big-bag or containerised pricing applies |
| Delivery country, port and Incoterm | Drives freight, duty and landed-cost comparability |
| Specification or accepted range | Protein, moisture, contaminant limits and required certificates |
| Payment and financing preference | LC, CAD or reviewed financing changes the supplier shortlist |
| Target start date and contract length | Spot, quarterly or annual supply attract different offers |
