How FeedMatch Handles Animal Feed and Feed Mill Project Requests
FeedMatch helps buyers prepare clearer animal feed and feed mill RFQs and connect with suitable suppliers or partners. It does not guarantee supplier acceptance, final pricing, financing approval or project outcomes.
Step 1
Buyer intake
The request arrives through the RFQ intake form, a calculator hand-off or direct contact, with country, animal category and capacity captured first.
Step 2
Animal category and feed type classification
The request is classified by species and feed form — mash, pellet, crumble, extruded, premix or concentrate — because these decide the equipment train.
Step 3
Capacity and equipment scope review
Tons per hour, shift pattern, and the equipment list (grinder, mixer, pellet mill, cooler, dryer, screener, bagging, silos, automation) are checked for internal consistency.
Step 4
Formulation and raw material review
Locally available raw materials, import dependence and any protein or energy targets are reviewed against the requested feed form.
Step 5
Calculator and checklist usage
Where numbers are missing, the buyer is pointed to the relevant calculator or checklist so the gap is closed with the buyer's own assumptions.
Step 6
RFQ readiness check
The request is scored for readiness: location, capacity, feed type, power, timeline, budget range and a reachable technical contact.
Step 7
Supplier or partner review
Only requests that pass readiness are shared with suitable suppliers or partners. Suppliers decide independently whether to respond.
Step 8
Follow-up questions
Missing technical details are collected in one consolidated round rather than piecemeal, to avoid re-quoting.
Step 9
Optional financing partner introduction
For suitable qualified large projects, an introduction to an external financing partner may be offered. No credit decision, rate or approval is made by FeedMatch.
Step 10
Stated limitations
No supplier, price, delivery date or financing outcome is guaranteed at any stage of this process.
