Methionine RFQ
Request a methionine quote from verified feed-grade suppliers
Methionine is usually the first limiting amino acid and one of the most price-volatile lines in the ration. Tell us the form, assay and volume you buy and we run a supplier-neutral RFQ across qualified manufacturers and authorised distributors, then normalise every offer to delivered cost per unit of active methionine at your mill.
- DL-Methionine 99% and liquid MHA (88%)
- Cost per unit of active, delivered
- Manufacturer and authorised-distributor offers
- Free for buyers — no supplier mandate

Frequently asked questions
What is the current price of feed-grade methionine?
Methionine pricing moves with a small number of producing plants, energy and propylene costs and freight, so any published figure ages within weeks. Quote requests submitted here are issued to qualified manufacturers and authorised distributors and returned as live, dated offers with a stated validity, packaging basis and Incoterm rather than an indicative index number.
Should I buy DL-Methionine 99% or liquid MHA?
DL-Methionine 99% is a dry crystalline product with the highest concentration per tonne and the simplest handling for bagged supply. Liquid MHA (HMTBa, typically 88%) needs tanks, dosing equipment and corrosion-resistant lines but can be cheaper per unit of methionine activity in some regions. Compare only on delivered cost per unit of methionine activity applied at your inclusion rate — never on price per tonne of product.
What minimum order quantity applies?
Manufacturers typically quote full container loads (roughly 20–25 t bagged) and prefer recurring monthly volumes. Smaller quantities are quoted through regional distributors and stockists at a service margin. We route your request to the supplier tier that fits your tonnage instead of forcing a single channel.
Which documents come with the offer?
Expect a specification sheet with guaranteed assay and analytical method, a recent certificate of analysis, certification scope (FAMI-QS, GMP+, ISO/FSSC), the manufacturing site, registration status for your destination market, packaging and pallet detail, lead time, and payment terms with a stated price validity.
Do you sell methionine yourselves?
No. FeedMatch Group is supplier-neutral and holds no manufacturer mandate. We write and issue the RFQ, verify supplier documentation, normalise the offers and support inspection and shipment finance. The service is free for buyers.
