Premix RFQ

Request a vitamin and mineral premix quote to your own formulation

A premix quote is only comparable when every supplier prices the same formulation at the same inclusion rate. Send us your premix sheet — or the species, stage and inclusion rate you need — and we issue a like-for-like RFQ to audited premix plants, with confidentiality on your formulation maintained throughout.

  • Custom or standard premix formulations
  • Like-for-like pricing at the same inclusion rate
  • Formulation confidentiality maintained
  • Audited premix plants only

Frequently asked questions

How much does a custom feed premix cost?
Premix cost is driven almost entirely by the vitamin and trace mineral levels inside it, the inclusion rate and the source forms specified — a 1 kg/t premix and a 5 kg/t premix are not comparable products. Suppliers quoting through FeedMatch price the same declared formulation at the same inclusion rate, so the offers you receive differ only on manufacturing margin, freight and terms.
Will my formulation stay confidential?
Yes. Formulation details are shared only with the premix plants you approve for the RFQ, and we can issue the enquiry under a mutual NDA before any levels are disclosed. FeedMatch is supplier-neutral and does not manufacture or resell premix.
Should I buy a finished premix or blend it in-house?
In-house blending gives the lowest raw cost and full formula control but requires micro-dosing accuracy, a validated mixer with proven coefficient of variation, disciplined storage and in-house QC. A purchased premix transfers that burden at a service margin typically of 5–15% and cuts SKU count sharply. Many mills buy amino acids and macro minerals as straights and take vitamins and trace elements as a premix.
What overage should the vitamin premix carry?
Overage covers vitamin activity lost during storage, conditioning and pelleting, and depends on your climate, storage period, pelleting temperature and the vitamin forms used. Ask each supplier to state the overage applied per vitamin and the guaranteed shelf life under your storage conditions — an unstated overage makes two premix offers non-comparable.
