Animal Feed RFQ Intake

Prepare your commercial animal-feed RFQ

Prepare a request for quotation for finished animal feed, feed ingredients, raw materials, premixes or additives. Enter your specifications, volumes and delivery terms, then download your RFQ or continue to the submission form. Supply inquiries are reviewed by specification, viable volume/frequency, destination and logistics—not a capital-budget minimum. Plant/equipment projects retain US$250,000 qualification. Human review and your authorization are required before supplier outreach.

Free for buyers; suppliers fund FeedMatch. No purchase obligation. Equipment/plant projects require a budget of at least US$250,000; separate feed supply has no capital-budget minimum.

Your buyer journey in five steps

  1. 01

    Submit a structured RFQ

Product or project specification, species, production stage and nutrition needs, volume or capacity, delivery schedule or season, origin and destination, required documents or certifications, packaging or technical requirements, and preferred delivery terms (Incoterms®).

  2. 02

    We clarify the request

Our team reviews it, asks what suppliers will need to know and identifies potential suppliers or solutions.

  3. 03

    We coordinate supplier questions

We handle supplier questions and collect comparable information and quotations where available.

  4. 04

We help you review the offers

Commercial terms, specification, volume, availability, documentation, logistics assumptions and open risks — side by side.

  5. 05

    You decide

You decide whether to proceed; we coordinate the next steps with the supplier you choose.

After you submit, our team follows up if anything is missing. When suppliers respond, we present their offers with supplier names withheld until an introduction is approved; with a buyer account you can follow your requests and the offers shared with you. If you proceed, the contract, payment, inspection and delivery are agreed between you and the supplier; if you don’t, there is no obligation.

We do not promise savings, guaranteed supply or quality, exclusive access or the removal of risk. Availability, specifications, certifications, prices and delivery windows are confirmed by suppliers for each RFQ.

Your identity and contact details are shared with suppliers only as you agree, and supplier communication runs through our team. FeedMatch is not the producer, seller, importer of record, laboratory, customs broker or carrier, and does not own the goods.

Supplier checks are a review of the supplier’s profile and the documents it provides. They are not an on-site audit, product inspection or laboratory test unless that is separately agreed and carried out by a qualified party.

Free for buyers. Plant and equipment projects qualify from a budget of US$250,000; feed, ingredient, premix and additive supply is reviewed by specification, volume and destination.

What you can consult us about

A person on our team reviews your requirements before any supplier is contacted. Plant/equipment projects retain their US$250,000 qualification; separate ingredient or recurring animal-feed supply inquiries are reviewed by specification, viable volume/frequency, destination and logistics, without that capital-project minimum. Supplier availability requires confirmation; animal feed is not fish or poultry for human consumption. FeedMatch is supplier-neutral and does not manufacture feed or build feed mills.

Feed & ingredient sourcing

Compound feed, raw materials, premixes and additives — we help you structure volumes, specifications and destination terms into an RFQ suppliers can quote on equal terms.

Comparable supplier offers

Use one written product specification, destination and delivery schedule so feed suppliers can quote against the same requirements. Review exclusions, quality documents and payment terms before choosing an offer.

How feed procurement works →

What to prepare for a feed or ingredient RFQ

  • Animal species and production stage the product is for
  • Product and written specification, including moisture basis
  • Monthly or annual tonnage and delivery frequency
  • Packaging (bulk, big bags or bags) and destination
  • Preferred Incoterm and delivery schedule
  • Quality documents you require (for example CoA or certificates)

What to compare in supplier offers

  • Same specification and moisture basis
  • Origin, quality documents and who issues them
  • Product price versus delivered (landed) cost
  • MOQ, packaging, freight and Incoterm
  • Lead time and payment terms

Suppliers are responsible for their offers, products, quality documents and delivery. Feeding and formulation decisions stay with your nutritionist.

What FeedMatch contributes to your procurement

  • A person reviews your requirements first; suppliers are contacted only with your authorization.
  • We clarify the specification with you, identify options across supplying markets, compare offers on the same basis and coordinate sourcing — supplier communication stays with FeedMatch.
  • We do not state composition, availability, certification, verification or landed cost on a supplier's behalf; those come from the supplier's own documents and offer.
  • Supplier-neutral position — RFQs structured so proposals can be compared on the same terms.
  • Consultation in English for buyers in any country. We do not guarantee response times, quote counts or outcomes.

1. Buyer information

What are you sourcing?

Our team clarifies your requirements, identifies suitable options across supplying markets, compares offers on the same terms and coordinates sourcing with you. All supplier communication runs through FeedMatch. Fill in only what you know; leave the rest blank.

State your actual annual quantity; leave it blank if unknown. Monthly volume is recorded separately, never extrapolated into an annual commitment.

4. Financing (optional)

Explore trade finance, letters of credit and supplier payment terms for feed and raw-material purchases. Availability and terms depend on independent lenders and the transaction; financing approval is not guaranteed.

Financing instruments How it works in your RFQ Pre-qualify

FeedMatch is supplier- and lender-neutral. Selecting a financing instrument here lets suppliers align payment terms, documentation and Incoterms accordingly, and lets our team pre-screen the right independent partners for your journey.

5. Scope of supply

6. Technical specification (optional — enterprise buyers)

Give suppliers the nutritional and packaging targets they need to quote precisely. Everything here is optional but strongly recommended for tenders and recurring contracts.

7. Site utilities, local raw materials & supplier history

Describe receiving and storage constraints, ingredients available locally and suppliers already approached. These details help define the feed shipment and avoid duplicate supplier outreach; they are not a request for equipment or mill construction.

8. Additional requirements

The US$250,000 minimum applies only to plant and equipment projects, not feed or ingredient purchases. Continuing opens the RFQ Builder; it does not contact suppliers. Human review and your authorization are required before supplier outreach. FeedMatch is not a manufacturer or lender and does not guarantee quotes, financing approval or outcomes.

We use these details only to review and answer your request. Our team decides which suppliers to contact; your contact details are not passed to a supplier without your agreement. Customer, supplier, RFQ and project information, including files in private project rooms, is confidential: it is not published or used for marketing. Only authorised FeedMatch staff and service providers who need it for your request can access it, or where the law requires; selected suppliers receive only what they need to quote. Privacy Policy and your rights.

Availability and the ability to trade depend on the applicable law and on the licences and approvals required, which differ by product and country. Each participant is responsible for the rules that apply to its own role: suppliers for the products they offer and supply, buyers for their own import permissions and checks. FeedMatch is not a manufacturer, importer, exporter, seller or regulatory approver; it facilitates sourcing and screens requests before any supplier is contacted. Regulation & responsibilities.

Farm buyer journey

From your farm to comparable feed and equipment quotes, in five steps

This is the route a farm buyer usually takes through FeedMatch. Start with the animals you feed, look at who supplies that kind of feed or farm equipment, then send one request. Our team contacts suitable suppliers and brings their responses back to you; you never have to chase suppliers yourself.

Each step below links to a page that already exists on the site, so you can stop at any point and come back to the request form on this page when you are ready.

1. Describe what you feed

Poultry, fish and shrimp, or cattle: the farm sections on the homepage set out which feed forms, stages and delivery options each type of farm usually asks about.

Farm feed sections

2. Look at feed suppliers

Browse public supplier profiles by species and country, for example aquafeed producers such as BioMar or shrimp feed specialists such as Avanti Feeds. Listings show what each company declares; they are research, not endorsements.

Supplier profiles

3. Check farm feed equipment

If you mix or store part of your feed, compare farm-scale silos, conveyors, grinders and mixers by country and type, with questions to put to each supplier.

Farm feed equipment

4. Plan on-farm preparation

Before buying a grinder or mixer, decide where feed will be received, stored and prepared on the farm, and how trucks reach the bins.

Farm feed preparation guide

5. Send one request — what to have ready

  • The species, production stage and approximate animal numbers or water area you are feeding.
  • Whether you want finished feed, ingredients to mix on the farm, or farm feed equipment — or a combination.
  • How feed is delivered and stored today, and how many days of stock you can hold.
  • Your delivery location and the timing of your next purchase.

Supplier details come from each company's own declarations. FeedMatch does not prescribe diets or promise prices, performance or results; confirm feed choices with your own nutritionist or veterinarian.

Before you start

What this form needs — and what happens next

This intake captures one requirement in the format suppliers can quote against: species, product, specification, tonnage, packaging, destination, Incoterm and contact details. Complete requirements produce comparable offers; incomplete ones produce guesses. After submission a FeedMatch specialist reviews the request; only then are suitable independent suppliers approached, and they respond with their own offers.

What information you need

  • Company name, country and a working business contact.
  • Species and production stage, or the exact ingredient and grade.
  • Specification with tolerances (protein, moisture, assay, particle size as relevant).
  • Tonnage per shipment and annual volume.
  • Packaging and destination port or delivery site.
  • Incoterm, target timing and required certifications or documents.

What happens next

  1. 1Acknowledgement. The request is logged and acknowledged on a business-day basis.
  2. 2Review. We check for missing fields and come back with the specific questions suppliers will ask.
  3. 3Supplier approach after review. Once reviewed, FeedMatch approaches independent suppliers whose category, capacity, certification scope and destination fit the RFQ.
  4. 4Offers and comparison. Supplier offers are normalized to the same specification, unit and Incoterm; you select a supplier and contract directly.

Buyers pay no fee and there is no obligation to buy. You contract directly with the supplier you select.

Common questions about this step

What information do I need to request a quote?
Company and contact details, species or ingredient and grade, specification with tolerances, tonnage per shipment and per year, packaging, destination, Incoterm, timing and required certifications.
What happens after I submit this form?
The request is acknowledged and reviewed for completeness by a FeedMatch specialist; only then are suitable independent suppliers for that product and market approached. They issue their own offers, which are normalized for comparison.
How long does it take to get offers?
There is no fixed turnaround. Supplier response timing and the number of offers depend on the product, specification, quantity, destination and supplier interest. A complete specification is the largest factor in how quickly comparable offers come back.
Does it cost anything to submit a request?
Buyers pay no fee and there is no obligation to buy. FeedMatch may be compensated by suppliers on completed transactions, which does not affect shortlisting.
