How do you plan a feed mill before requesting quotations?
Size the plant first — capacity in tonnes per hour, annual output, process route, silo volume and installed power. Test the economics at your margin and utilisation. Price the automation level against labour, dosing give-away and downtime. Compare mash, pelleting and extrusion at the same capacity so the process route is a priced decision rather than a supplier preference. Only then issue an RFQ, carrying every number forward. Requesting quotations before those four things are fixed produces offers that cannot be compared, because each supplier prices its own assumptions.
