What is MCP 22% Feed Grade (Monocalcium Phosphate)?
MCP 22% feed grade is monocalcium phosphate with a minimum total phosphorus content of 22%, used as the highest-availability inorganic phosphorus source in poultry, swine and aqua feed. It is typically dosed at 5–20 kg per tonne of finished feed. Because phosphorus is the value, a comparable offer must state total and available phosphorus, calcium, fluorine, granulometry and moisture — an MCP offer quoted only as a price per tonne of product cannot be compared.
