Border authorities check certificates against a prescribed model. A missing attestation line, an unrecognised signatory, an incorrect stamp or an unaccepted language can cause rejection even where the product itself is fully compliant.

Obtain and review a draft against the accepted model before the certificate is finalised at origin. Correcting a draft costs hours; correcting an issued certificate after arrival costs weeks and storage charges.
