Feed mill RFQ
Definition
A feed mill RFQ is a structured request for quotation covering the equipment, capacity and scope needed to produce animal feed. It states animal category, feed form, tons per hour, raw materials, storage and automation so that suppliers can price a comparable scope.
Why it matters
Without a structured RFQ, suppliers quote different machines against different assumptions and the offers cannot be compared.
When it affects procurement
From the first supplier contact onwards. The quality of the RFQ determines how many re-quoting rounds the project needs.

A 5 t/h poultry feed mill RFQ specifying mash and crumble, maize and soybean meal intake, 30 days of raw material storage and semi-automatic batching.
