Online double-conversion UPS
Mandatory for hatchery setters, hatchers, incubator motors and climate controllers. Zero transfer time on grid loss. Line-interactive UPS is only acceptable for office and non-critical controller loads.
The Automatic Transfer Switch decides whether tunnel fans keep running when the grid fails. UPS decides whether setters lose embryos on transfer. FeedMatch shortlists suppliers for both — sized to poultry critical loads, not generic data-centre spec.

ATS is sized to full running load + 25% motor-inrush margin, rounded up to the next standard frame (100–3200 A). Open-transition is the default; closed-transition is used on very-large complexes that need uninterrupted scheduled genset tests.
Grid fails → UPS holds critical load → ATS starts genset → genset synchronises → ATS transfers load → UPS returns to standby. FeedMatch specifies this sequence in the RFQ.

Typically 3–5 minutes at full critical load — enough to bridge to the standby generator. Longer runtimes are quoted only when the genset itself is single-point-of-failure or is offsite.
Full farm running load + 25% motor-inrush margin, rounded up to the next standard frame. FeedMatch sizes the ATS from the same single-line diagram used for the genset.

No. FeedMatch is a vendor-neutral sourcing hub. Suppliers quote directly under NDA and we help compare bids on scope, warranties, service coverage and integration with poultry loads.
Financing is arranged through independent third-party partners, subject to their own approval. FeedMatch introduces qualified projects; approval terms remain with the financier.
