Yes. AC-coupled hybrid retrofits sit alongside the existing genset and grid tie; the hybrid controller sequences PV/battery/genset automatically. The existing genset is reused.
What payback do hybrids deliver on poultry?＋
Off-grid farms on 24/7 diesel: 3–5 years. Weak-grid farms with 1–4 hours of daily outages: 5–8 years. Urban-grid farms with reliable supply usually do not clear payback on hybrid — they buy standby only.
