Process
1

Define the project

Species and feed products, capacity (t/h), country, Incoterms and target commissioning window.

2

Set the scope

Separate feed/ingredient supply from equipment scope; include specification, annual quantity, delivery window and required quality evidence.

3

Brief review

The FeedMatch team reviews missing scope and evidence before authorized supplier outreach. Review and response timing are not guaranteed.

4

Comparable offers

Supplier proposals on identical scope are compared side by side. The number of proposals and the timing depend on suppliers and are not guaranteed.

Select scope

Choose the lots included in this RFQ. Multiple lots are supported.

Broiler farm

Pan feeders & nipple drinkers, tunnel ventilation, cooling pads, radiant/forced-air heating, climate controllers, LED lighting, biosecurity.

Layer farm

Every feed project request is reviewed manually by FeedMatch Group, and supplier outreach by our team happens only after internal approval.

We use these details only to review and answer your request. Our team decides which suppliers to contact; your contact details are not passed to a supplier without your agreement. Customer, supplier, RFQ and project information, including files in private project rooms, is confidential: it is not published or used for marketing. Only authorised FeedMatch staff and service providers who need it for your request can access it, or where the law requires; selected suppliers receive only what they need to quote. Privacy Policy and your rights.

Availability and the ability to trade depend on the applicable law and on the licences and approvals required, which differ by product and country. Each participant is responsible for the rules that apply to its own role: suppliers for the products they offer and supply, buyers for their own import permissions and checks. FeedMatch is not a manufacturer, importer, exporter, seller or regulatory approver; it facilitates sourcing and screens requests before any supplier is contacted. Regulation & responsibilities.

RFQ — technical FAQ

Is the RFQ Builder free for buyers?
Yes. Buyer RFQs and review are free; suppliers fund the platform. There is no purchase obligation. Plant/equipment projects require at least US$250,000; separate feed or ingredient supply is reviewed by specification, volume/frequency, destination and logistics without that capital-budget minimum.
How many quotes will I receive?
No quote count is guaranteed. Responses depend on the actual specification, supplier interest, capacity, destination and delivery terms. Missing evidence and unavailable offers remain unconfirmed.
How are quotes made comparable?
The sourcing engineer normalises each proposal against the released specification: capacity, materials, control systems, warranty, delivery terms and payment schedule are aligned so total-cost-of-ownership can be compared like-for-like.
What is the typical response time?
Each brief is reviewed by a person before release to suppliers. Response times depend on suppliers, scope and region, and are not guaranteed.
Do you provide financing?
No. FeedMatch is a sourcing platform, not a lender. Qualifying projects are introduced, with buyer consent, to independent financing partners. All approvals, pricing and underwriting are decided solely by those partners.
Do suppliers ship to Turkey?
Yes. Our qualified suppliers regularly export to Turkey and across Europe / Middle East, including turnkey EPC contracts, container shipments and spare-parts support.
Do quotes include delivery to Turkey?
You choose. RFQs can be issued EXW, FOB or CIF Turkey. FeedMatch normalizes incoterms so quotes are directly comparable.
Before you start

What the RFQ builder needs — and what happens next

The RFQ builder collects the fields suppliers must have before they can quote comparably: product and form, specification with tolerances, tonnage, packaging, destination, Incoterm, certification and payment terms. It produces one structured request per requirement, which FeedMatch routes to independent suppliers. FeedMatch does not quote, resell or add margin.

What information you need

  • Product, form and grade for each line item.
  • Nutritional or technical specification with acceptable tolerances.
  • Tonnage per shipment and expected annual volume.
  • Packaging: bulk, big bags, 25 kg bags or containerized.
  • Destination port or delivery site plus the Incoterm.
  • Required certifications and documents (GMP+, FAMI-QS, ISO 22000, HACCP, halal, COA, phytosanitary).
  • Payment terms and any tender or contract deadline.

What happens next

  1. 1Completeness review. We check the request and come back with the specific questions suppliers would otherwise ask.
  2. 2Human review, then supplier approach. Only after a FeedMatch specialist has reviewed the RFQ are suitable independent suppliers for that product, volume and destination approached.
  3. 3Offers returned. Suppliers issue their own offers and documentation; nothing is marked up or rewritten.
  4. 4Comparison and contract. Offers are normalized to one basis for spec, landed cost and lead time; you contract directly with the supplier you select.
Next: submit your built RFQ for human review Or add the document pack before submitting

No supplier is contacted until a FeedMatch specialist has reviewed your RFQ. FeedMatch does not quote against your own request.

Common questions about this step

What information does the RFQ builder require?
Product and form, specification with tolerances, tonnage per shipment and per year, packaging, destination and Incoterm, required certifications and documentation, and payment terms.
What happens after I submit the RFQ?
A FeedMatch specialist reviews the request for completeness; only then are suitable independent suppliers for that product and market approached, and their offers are normalized to the same specification, unit and Incoterm for comparison.
Does FeedMatch quote the price itself?
No. Suppliers issue their own offers and contract directly with the buyer. FeedMatch structures the requirement and does not add margin to supplier quotations.

What to include in each type of feed RFQ

The same buyer portal handles every request type. What changes is the information a supplier needs before a quotation is comparable. Use these checklists when preparing a feed mill RFQ, aquafeed RFQ, poultry feed RFQ, premix RFQ or bulk ingredient RFQ.

Feed mill RFQAquafeed RFQPoultry feed RFQPremix and additive RFQBulk feed ingredient RFQFeed storage and handling RFQ

Feed mill RFQ

A feed mill RFQ covers a complete production line or a defined upgrade: intake and cleaning, grinding, batching and mixing, conditioning and pelleting, cooling, coating, bagging or bulk loadout, plus automation and installation scope.

Required in the RFQ

  • ·Target capacity in tonnes per hour and planned operating hours per year
  • ·Species and formulation range (mash, pellet, crumble, and pellet diameters)
  • ·Raw material list, storage plan and intake logistics
  • ·Electrical supply, steam availability and site constraints
  • ·Scope split: equipment supply only, supply and installation, or turnkey
  • ·Destination country, Incoterm, budget band and required commissioning date

Manual review: FeedMatch reviews capacity realism against the formulation range, the raw material plan and the site's power and steam constraints before any supplier is researched.

Aquafeed RFQ

An aquafeed RFQ is either an extrusion line request (sinking, slow-sinking or floating pellet) or a finished aquafeed supply contract for fish or shrimp production.

Required in the RFQ

  • ·Species, life stage and pellet sizes required, including micro-diets if relevant
  • ·Floating, slow-sinking or sinking pellet with target water stability and durability
  • ·Capacity per hour and per year, plus oil inclusion and vacuum coating requirement
  • ·Target protein, fat, digestibility and raw material constraints (fishmeal replacement policy)
  • ·Drying, cooling and packaging scope for line requests
  • ·Destination, Incoterm, monthly tonnage and required certifications for supply contracts

Manual review: FeedMatch checks that pellet physics, capacity and formulation targets are internally consistent — the most common reason aquafeed quotations come back non-comparable.

Also searched as: aquafeed extrusion line RFQ · fish feed RFQ · shrimp feed RFQ · aquaculture feed request for quotation

Submit this requirement →

Poultry feed RFQ

A poultry feed RFQ covers bulk finished feed supply — broiler starter, grower and finisher, or layer phases — or a poultry feed mill package sized to an integration's bird numbers.

Required in the RFQ

  • ·Phase programme and monthly tonnage per phase
  • ·Specification: crude protein, ME, amino acid targets, calcium and phosphorus
  • ·Presentation: mash, crumble or pellet, with pellet diameter and durability target
  • ·Medication, coccidiostat and additive policy plus withdrawal requirements
  • ·Bulk or bagged delivery, packaging, and delivery frequency
  • ·Destination, Incoterm, price basis and contract duration

Manual review: FeedMatch confirms the phase programme, tonnage and specification are quotable as a contract rather than a spot enquiry before approaching suppliers.

Also searched as: broiler feed RFQ · layer feed RFQ · bulk poultry feed quotation request

Submit this requirement →

Premix and additive RFQ

A premix or additive RFQ defines a dosing programme rather than a single product: inclusion rate, carrier, active levels and the analytical evidence required with each batch.

Required in the RFQ

  • ·Inclusion rate per tonne of finished feed and annual finished-feed volume
  • ·Vitamin and trace mineral levels, source form (oxide, sulphate, chelated) and carrier
  • ·Enzymes, acidifiers, binders, mycotoxin management and other functional additives
  • ·Certificate of analysis, stability data and shelf life requirements
  • ·Packaging, labelling language and regulatory registration in the destination market
  • ·Destination, Incoterm and required delivery schedule

Manual review: FeedMatch normalises inclusion rates and active levels so competing premix offers can be compared per tonne of finished feed, not per tonne of premix.

Also searched as: premix RFQ · feed additive RFQ · vitamin mineral premix quotation request

Submit this requirement →

Bulk feed ingredient RFQ

A bulk ingredient RFQ covers commodity and protein raw materials — soybean meal, corn, wheat bran, DDGS, fishmeal, oils and fats — under a defined contract period.

Required in the RFQ

  • ·Product, origin acceptance and monthly or annual tonnage
  • ·Specification: protein, moisture, fibre, fat, ash and contaminant limits
  • ·Sampling, testing method and arbitration rules
  • ·Incoterm, discharge port, vessel or container preference and demurrage terms
  • ·Price basis (fixed, index-linked, formula) and payment terms
  • ·Certifications: GMP+, ISO, non-GMO, halal or others required in the destination

Manual review: FeedMatch verifies that specification, testing basis and Incoterm are stated before quotation, since these three drive most of the apparent price spread.

Also searched as: soybean meal RFQ · corn RFQ feed · bulk feed ingredient request for quotation · feed raw material RFQ

Submit this requirement →

Feed storage and handling RFQ

A storage and handling RFQ defines silos, conveying, dosing and loadout for a mill or a farm receiving bulk feed.

Required in the RFQ

  • ·Number and capacity of silos, product bulk density and residence time
  • ·Conveying method, throughput and dust control requirements
  • ·Dosing, weighing accuracy and automation interface
  • ·Truck or vessel loadout rate and civil works scope
  • ·Site climate, seismic and regulatory constraints
  • ·Destination, Incoterm and installation responsibility

Manual review: FeedMatch checks throughput, bulk density and loadout assumptions so silo and conveying offers are dimensioned on the same basis.

Farm buyer journey

From your farm to comparable feed and equipment quotes, in five steps

This is the route a farm buyer usually takes through FeedMatch. Start with the animals you feed, look at who supplies that kind of feed or farm equipment, then send one request. Our team contacts suitable suppliers and brings their responses back to you; you never have to chase suppliers yourself.

Each step below links to a page that already exists on the site, so you can stop at any point and come back to the request form on this page when you are ready.

1. Describe what you feed

Poultry, fish and shrimp, or cattle: the farm sections on the homepage set out which feed forms, stages and delivery options each type of farm usually asks about.

Farm feed sections

2. Look at feed suppliers

Browse public supplier profiles by species and country, for example aquafeed producers such as BioMar or shrimp feed specialists such as Avanti Feeds. Listings show what each company declares; they are research, not endorsements.

Supplier profiles

3. Check farm feed equipment

If you mix or store part of your feed, compare farm-scale silos, conveyors, grinders and mixers by country and type, with questions to put to each supplier.

Farm feed equipment

4. Plan on-farm preparation

Before buying a grinder or mixer, decide where feed will be received, stored and prepared on the farm, and how trucks reach the bins.

Farm feed preparation guide

5. Send one request — what to have ready

  • The species, production stage and approximate animal numbers or water area you are feeding.
  • Whether you want finished feed, ingredients to mix on the farm, or farm feed equipment — or a combination.
  • How feed is delivered and stored today, and how many days of stock you can hold.
  • Your delivery location and the timing of your next purchase.

Supplier details come from each company's own declarations. FeedMatch does not prescribe diets or promise prices, performance or results; confirm feed choices with your own nutritionist or veterinarian.
