Buy cattle & poultry feed in bulk in India

India combines very large dairy and poultry demand with a fragmented supply base, so the same specification can differ widely in price and consistency between states. Most Indian enquiries we receive are about securing dependable monthly supply at a known delivered cost, not about finding the single cheapest quote.

Logistics & landed cost

Imported raw materials arrive through Kandla, Mundra, Krishnapatnam and Chennai, while most finished feed moves by road within the state cluster. Because inland freight and state-level logistics often outweigh the per-tonne price gap, our RFQ always captures the exact delivery district, unloading capability and required delivery window.

Currency, units and local trade termsIndia

Volumes are contracted in metric tonnes per month; bagged feed is normally handled in 50 kg bags, with 1 MT = 20 bags. Local quotations are usually given in INR per 50 kg bag or INR/MT ex-mill; import offers are compared in USD/MT CIF or DDP with duties shown separately.

Common in aqua and pre-starter feed

Frequently asked questionsIndia

Do you sell feed directly in India?
No. FeedMatch is a supplier-neutral procurement layer. We structure the requirement, issue the RFQ, research suppliers and compare offers commercially; the contract is signed between the buyer and the chosen supplier.
Can you compare domestic mills with imported feed?
Yes. Offers are normalised to the same Incoterm and delivery point, including sea freight, port charges, applicable duties and GST treatment, and inland road freight to the farm.
How do you handle bag versus bulk pricing?
We convert every quotation to price per metric tonne before comparison, so a 50 kg bag price and a bulk ex-mill price can be judged on the same basis.
What documents do you request from suppliers?
Batch certificate of analysis, product specification sheet, feed licence and sanitary documentation where applicable, plus payment terms and price validity.
