How this calculation works

Monthly spend = tonnes per month × delivered price per tonne. Annual spend = monthly spend × 12.

Delivered price per tonne should include freight, port and inland handling — an ex-works comparison understates what you actually pay. Use the same basis for every supplier you compare.
