Match packaging to the material and the journey
Hygroscopic and oxidation-sensitive materials need moisture barriers and, in some cases, inert or vacuum packaging. Bulk bags need certified lifting loops and correct safe working load ratios. Ocean freight into humid ports needs more protection than short inland delivery.
Marking is part of the packaging specification
Lot number, production date, net weight, product name and handling instructions must be legible on arrival. Marking that fails in transit breaks traceability just as effectively as missing records.
应核实事项
- —Bag material, weight, liner and sealing method
- —Pallet configuration, stretch wrapping and stack stability
- —Bulk bag safe working load and lifting loop certification
- —Legibility and durability of lot marking
常见风险
- —Moisture ingress and caking
- —Bag failure during handling and product loss
- —Traceability broken by illegible markings
常见错误
- —Specifying bag weight only
- —Assuming palletisation is included when it was never priced
常见问题
Bulk, bulk bags or 25 kg bags?
Bulk has the lowest unit cost and needs receiving infrastructure; bulk bags suit intermediate volumes and flexible handling; small bags suit micro ingredients and premixes where dosing accuracy and moisture protection dominate.

Transport conditions — mode, container type, ventilation, lining, stowage and transit time — determine whether specification survives the journey, and they belong in the contract, not in an assumption.
Particle size distribution governs mixing homogeneity, pellet quality, digestive efficiency and segregation risk, and is specified as a geometric mean diameter with a distribution, not a single sieve figure.
Shelf life is the period over which an ingredient retains its declared specification under defined storage conditions; it is a conditional statement, not a fixed property of the material.
