Platform Rules
Version 2026-R1 draft · Draft for counsel review · Effective date: [effective date — set on publication]
Related: Terms of Use · Acceptable Use · Buyer Terms · Supplier Terms · RFQ Terms · Legal Center
These Platform Rules set the conduct expected of buyers and suppliers using FeedMatch, and add to the Terms of Use and the Acceptable Use Policy. FeedMatch is a managed, human-led procurement service, not an open marketplace: users do not list or trade directly with each other through it. FeedMatch reviews requests, contacts suppliers on the buyer's behalf, compares offers and introduces the parties after the buyer approves an offer.
1. Neutrality
FeedMatch is supplier-neutral. Suppliers are contacted and offers are ordered on fit with the buyer's written requirement, not on payment. There is no paid, sponsored or priority placement [owner to confirm this remains the case]. Being contacted or shortlisted is not an endorsement, certification or verification of a supplier or product.
2. Accurate information
Buyers and suppliers must give only accurate, current and lawful information about themselves, their projects, their products and their certificates. Misleading claims about capacity, certificates, production location, ownership, references or performance are prohibited.
3. Comparable quoting
Suppliers quote on the specification, delivery terms, warranty and schedule requested and disclose every deviation, exclusion and condition. Buyers request quotations only with genuine sourcing intent.
4. Fees and introductions
Where a supplier owes FeedMatch a fee under a separate written agreement, neither party may conclude the introduced transaction around FeedMatch in order to avoid that fee. This does not restrict a relationship that existed and is documented before the introduction.
5. Communications
Communications must stay professional. Harassment, threats, discrimination, spam, unsolicited bulk outreach, and sharing another person's personal data without a lawful basis are prohibited.
6. References and reviews
References and reviews must be genuine and based on real transactions. Fabricated, purchased or coerced feedback is prohibited.
7. Content you share
You keep your rights in documents and content you share, and allow FeedMatch to host, display to the relevant parties, translate and excerpt them to provide the Service. You confirm you have the rights needed to do so. See the IP Policy.
8. Enforcement
FeedMatch may review, ask for documents, warn, restrict, suspend or remove a user, request or quotation that breaks these rules, and will tell the user where it is lawful and practical.
9. Governing law
These Platform Rules are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, and the competent courts of Cyprus have jurisdiction [governing law, court and any exclusivity to be confirmed by counsel]. If, despite these terms, you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence apply and are not affected.
