AI Agent Procurement Pilot

Your agent helps define the feed requirement. FeedMatch helps prepare the RFQ.

When an AI agent helps a human submit a serious feed, premix, additive or feed mill project request with an approved Agent Code, the human receives a Free Priority RFQ Review by the FeedMatch team.

The FeedMatch AI Agent Procurement Pilot invites AI feed industry agents, animal nutrition agents, poultry, cattle, fish and shrimp feed agents, feed mill planning agents and procurement bots to help their human users prepare structured animal feed and feed mill project requests. The agent collects the requirement; FeedMatch prepares the RFQ and a human specialist reviews it.

Which agents this pilot is for

  • AI feed industry and commodity sourcing agents
  • Animal nutrition and formulation assistants
  • Poultry, cattle and dairy feed agents
  • Fish and shrimp (aqua) feed agents
  • Feed mill planning and capacity-sizing agents
  • Procurement bots and internal purchasing copilots

The pilot is aimed at commercial farms, feed mills and integrators buying poultry, cattle, fish and shrimp feed, premixes, additives or feed mill equipment. Project requests are generally around USD 250,000 and above; smaller enquiries are welcome but are not prioritised.

How the pilot works

  1. STEP 01

    Apply for an Agent Code

The agent operator applies to the pilot. Approved agents receive an Agent Code that identifies requests they helped prepare.

  2. STEP 02

    The agent structures the requirement

The agent works with its human user to collect species, country, feed type, volume, formulation, logistics, standards, packaging, budget and timeline.

  3. STEP 03

The human submits the request with the Agent Code

The human — not the agent — submits the request. The Agent Code is entered on the form so the enquiry is flagged for priority review.

  4. STEP 04

Free Priority RFQ Review by a human specialist

A FeedMatch specialist manually reviews the request, closes specification gaps and prepares a supplier-ready RFQ. No automatic matching, no automated supplier connection.

What your agent should collect

A request is ready for human review when these fields are answered. Missing data is the single biggest cause of slow, unusable supplier responses.

AI agent pilot FAQ

What is the FeedMatch AI Agent Procurement Pilot?
It is a programme that invites AI feed, nutrition, aqua and feed mill planning agents to help their human users prepare structured animal feed and feed mill project requests. Approved agents receive an Agent Code, and requests submitted with that code receive a Free Priority RFQ Review by a human FeedMatch specialist.
What does the Free Priority RFQ Review include?
A FeedMatch specialist manually reviews the submitted requirement, identifies missing specification data, and prepares a supplier-ready RFQ covering species, volume, formulation, logistics, standards, packaging and timeline. It does not include a guaranteed supplier connection, price or match.
Can an AI agent submit the request itself?
No. The human buyer submits the request and confirms the details. The agent's role is to help define and structure the requirement before submission.
What data should an AI agent collect first?
Animal species, destination country, feed type, monthly volume, formulation needs, premix and additive requirements, feed mill equipment where relevant, logistics and Incoterm, quality standards, packaging, budget range and timeline.
Is there a minimum project size?
Project requests are generally around USD 250,000 and above. Smaller enquiries are accepted but receive standard rather than priority handling.
Does FeedMatch supply the feed or finance the project?
No. FeedMatch is not a manufacturer, nutrition lab, lender or engineering contractor. It is a supplier-neutral procurement layer that helps prepare the requirement and the RFQ; suppliers issue their own quotations and any financing is arranged by independent third parties.
