Dryer Sizing Calculator
Extruded fish, shrimp and pet feed leaves the extruder wet and must be dried to a safe storage moisture. The dryer is sized by how much water it removes each hour.

Method: Wet input = dry output × (100 − moisture out) ÷ (100 − moisture in). Water removed = wet input − dry output. Heat load = water removed × heat per kg ÷ 3,600.
