Feed mill equipment in the Philippines — pelleting plants, storage and bagging lines.
Philippine poultry and swine producers build mid-capacity mills with heavy bagging requirements and imported raw material. FeedMatch scopes the plant and compares manufacturers able to deliver, install and support it across the islands.
- 3–20 t/h pelleting
- Bagging & palletising
- Typhoon-aware civil scope
- Aquafeed extrusion option

Bagging is part of the process line
Where distribution is bagged and shipped between islands, a mill that pellets faster than it bags gains nothing. Quote bagging, palletising and warehouse throughput at the same capacity class as the mill.
Power and resilience
Grid instability and typhoon risk make generator backup, soft-start strategy and drainage part of the core scope. Ask bidders for specific energy consumption at your recipe so the generator is sized on measured load, not nameplate.
Aquafeed option
Tilapia and bangus producers need extruded floating feed, which cannot come from a pellet mill. A shared grinding and mixing front end feeding a separate extrusion train is usually the efficient structure.
Ingredient supply
Imported soybean meal, wheat, amino acids and additives dominate the recurring cost. FeedMatch prices the ingredient programme with the equipment RFQ.
Short answer · reviewed August 2026
How should a Philippine feed mill be sized and specified?
Size on annual tonnage divided by realistic operating hours, plus 15–25% headroom. Beyond sizing, three local factors drive the specification: imported soybean meal and wheat push raw-material cover toward 21–45 days; multi-island distribution makes bagging and palletising throughput a hard constraint rather than an afterthought; and typhoon exposure raises structural, drainage and power-backup requirements in the civil scope.

| Metric | Value | Unit | Basis |
|---|---|---|---|
| Regional mill class | 3–10 | t/h | Provincial poultry or swine producer |
| Integration mill class | 10–20 | t/h | Multi-farm integration |
| Raw-material cover | 21–45 | days | Imported soybean meal and wheat |
| Bagging line | 600–1,200 | bags/h | 25–50 kg bags, island distribution |
| Pelleting energy | 10–20 | kWh/t | Recipe and die dependent |
