How FeedMatch feed project introductions work

FeedMatch is not another feed-equipment directory and not an open buyer-to-supplier marketplace. We do not blast a project to random feed-mill manufacturers. A project is structured first, researched with our tools, reviewed by a person, and only then — when there is a meaningful technical and commercial fit — is an introduction coordinated.

Supplier and manufacturer listings are provided for research, transparency and discovery only. FeedMatch Group does not provide automatic buyer-supplier introductions. Every feed project request is reviewed manually by David / FeedMatch Group, and supplier introductions are made only after internal approval.

Only David or an explicitly authorized FeedMatch / Global B2B Group team member may approve and coordinate a commercial introduction. A strong technology match score is a signal for human review — never an automatic introduction.

Questions about controlled introductions

Does FeedMatch connect buyers directly with feed-mill manufacturers?

No. FeedMatch never forwards a buyer enquiry automatically to equipment manufacturers, premix companies or additive suppliers. Every project is structured, researched and reviewed by a person, and an introduction is coordinated only after David or an authorized FeedMatch team member approves it.

Why does FeedMatch use controlled introductions?

A request such as 'I need a feed mill' cannot be matched correctly. Species, feed form, capacity in tonnes per hour, raw materials, grinding, mixing accuracy, dosing, conditioning, pelleting or extrusion, drying, cooling, coating, storage, packaging, automation and utilities all change which manufacturers are relevant. Structuring the project first produces better options for the buyer and better context for the supplier.

Can a supplier buy access to buyer leads?

No. FeedMatch does not sell leads and does not provide private buyer access. Directory registration keeps a supplier discoverable for research; it does not release buyer enquiries, project data or contact details.

What does a supplier receive before an introduction is approved?

Only limited or anonymised technical information needed to assess fit — for example species, feed form, indicative capacity and process requirements. Buyer identity, contact details, budget, formulations, drawings and internal notes are withheld until an introduction is approved.

Can an AI agent trigger an introduction?

No. AI agents and MCP clients may research technologies, use the calculators, structure a requirement and submit a project. They cannot access private leads, forward RFQs to manufacturers, share formulations, approve matches or open direct buyer-supplier contact.

What if I do not know which process I need?

Select 'Unknown — help me define the process' when submitting. FeedMatch uses the capacity, raw-material, CAPEX and OPEX tools to define the requirement with you before any supplier research starts.

Can I ask FeedMatch to consider a specific manufacturer I found in the directory?

Yes. Ask FeedMatch to review that supplier and it is recorded as a buyer-requested supplier review. The company is then assessed for species, feed type, capacity, raw-material compatibility, process technology, automation, geography, service and turnkey capability like any other candidate.

How long does the review take?

Structuring and clarification usually take 1–3 business days for finished feed and up to 5 business days for a mill, extrusion or automation project. Supplier research and fit review follow once the requirement is complete.
