FAQ
Common questions
Should we expand in phases or all at once?
Most commercial expansions above 40% of current capacity phase construction to protect cash flow, validate biosecurity and lock supplier prices only when each phase starts. Single-phase builds win on unit cost but concentrate risk.
What CAPEX per bird should I plan for?
Broiler retrofits run $12–$16/bird added. Climate-controlled greenfield broiler ~ $18–$24/bird. Layer complexes with manure handling and grading ~ $30–$45/bird. Use vendor-neutral quotes to calibrate.
Do you finance expansion CAPEX?
Qualified expansions can be introduced to independent third-party financing partners — supplier credit, leasing and ECA-backed structures — subject to their approval.
Will you help scope suppliers for the expansion?
Yes. After you run the planner, click Request Similar Project to send the expansion brief into the RFQ builder and receive vendor-neutral supplier matches.
